I ordered this fuel pump from JMS the other day

http://www.jmschip.com/shop/product_info.php?products_id=315

But instead I got this fuel pump drop shipped from Steeda.

http://www.steeda.com/products/bosch_inline_fuel_pump.php

I e-mailed JMS about it and they said that they both pump the same lph, but I'm not so convinced. I've read elsewhere that the pump on the JMS site will support upwards of 700 hp, while this steeda one says it will only support 500 hp. Can anybody shed any light on this? Thanks.

a 44gal/hr is only a 166lph pump. the horsepower ratings are probly based off a high psi. I run the vortech t-rex pump which is a 50 Gal/Hr@70psi.

Our fuel system runs depending on boost level, around 45psi. so hp rating at 166lph@45psi is probly lower than what your gonna need with a supercharged 351 (i think you were goin supercharged right?)

Well, I got an e-mail from JMS and they insist that those two pumps are the same.....somehow I still doubt it though since they look completely different and by using tjh566's numbers, they don't flow the same. I call shenanigans.

I've done some digging of my own and found this chart

http://www.boschfuelpumps.com/specs.html

The pump that I recieved is the 984 which flows 165 lph at 72 PSI, the one I should have recieved, the 044, flows 200 lph at 72 psi.

Edit: Sorry, I realize this has kinda turned into a Talk thread.
