Daniel50 said:yeah another break im on my 3rd hour now. in that hour made little prgoress. pulled the fuel injecotrs themselves out. need to find a fuel line tool to disconnect the two lines. then need to unbolt the 2 bolts by the water pump and pull the dizzy. then the lower should come off. transfer the fuel injecor assemble to the new lower and bolt that down. put the dizzy back in and the water pump bolts. and hook up all that electrical and then its time for another break!
9350coupe said:since you do not use a EGR spacer with cobra intake.....make sure you do not hook up the coolant line to the nipple sticking out of cobra intake.
Daniel50 said:thanks for the tip. i decided to call it a day since im tired and work early. i feel like the worst "mechanic" ever. i spent 7 hours on the instal so far. took me 4 to get the upper, lower, dizzy, drain coolant, oil, transfer throttle body and clean injectors. than 3 scrapping and cleaning the gasket surfaces. finally finsihed and looks great hope the extra care in cleaning the surfaces is worth it. tommorow when i get off work i hopefully will finish but who knows with me doing the work....
