My 1978 MTD has an intake height of 17." I only had one small area that overtopped it by about an inch. It was a solid 15" over everything else, and that old beastie just kept chugging right on through!

We have right at 16" new so far. It is the light powder snow. (21" total on the snow gauge)
Plowed the driveway this morning. Had to go slow because the snow is so light that it just billows up into a cloud.
When I was done I parked the truck. Went out later today to start the truck and it just went "click".
It has a new battery. I found that the starter was frozen from snow getting on it while it was warm, melting and then freezing.
Got out a propane torch, crawled under the truck and warmed up the starter for 30-45 seconds, and it cranked right up.
It is up to 9*F so things are warming up...
