Info for E-brock Victor 5.0 intakes

I don't mean to thread-jack but I have a Victor 5.0 that I am using in my new combination. I have a couple of q's. It's meant to run with out the egr spacer right? Also, do you like it? I normally wouldn't run such a short runner intake but I'm going to br running a really big blower so I'm thinking that I'll be compensating for the lack of RPM the intake was meant for. I just love the air gap design and the access to the engine!!! Anyway, the guy I got mine from drilled the back of the intake and put a nipple in it....I'm assuming that I should run a vacuum line to it. I'll send you pics if you want. That might be one way to go. The other alternative you have is an evac system- morroso sells one for $80. It vents the valve covers right into the exhaust.

You will need the EGR spacer or delete kit so that the throttle cable bracket has a place to mount, or make some kind of bracket for it.

This is on a friends car and haven't had a chance to really try it out yet. Just went on about 150 miles ago when the engine went back in. Its on an blown 347, so the loss in low end isn't noticable. But he put it on for better top end, at the track. First time to the track with the new motor set up it went 10.70's with a ported Cobra intake. Looking for some mid to low 10's when it goes back..

If you could send the pics of the way your's is set up, I would appreciate it.. E-mail them to me [email protected] Looking for idea's to solve this dilema..
