Info needed on beehive valve springs

I just bought a set of ported and polished E-7 heads for my car (I have the E-6 heads....'86 H.O.).Anyway,the heads have new valves and beehive springs.I really don't know much about these kind of springs.I have a machine shop checking the heads out.Are these springs too much for a stock cam?I'm running a factory '86 cam and don't want to ruin anything.thanks.

Correct me if i'm wrong, but those springs are made by Comp Cams, just contact them and ask there opinion, i'm sure they will have more than enough information about the springs and your combo.

we need specs on the springs, open and close pressure install heigh etc.

most likey they are too much spring and might not fit over unmachined valve guide bosses.

keep in mind you will need new retainers and locks (the stock springs are diffrent sized with rotators and such). If you r keeping stock stuff your prob best off getting the trick flow kit or buying stock replacement springs from seal power if your locks and retainers can be reused

These springs were already installed on the heads with the retainers and locks,and teflon valve seals.It was a complete assembly when I bought them.I took them to a machine shop and they are going to get all the details for me.I should know tomorrow.I'm hoping that my stock lifters and push rods will work with them.We'll see.I got the heads for an excellent price,and I didn't do much thinking ahead of time.Jaded by the price I guess.

got part number for the springs?, if not I would measure the open and close pressure (well I would measue even if I did have a part number to make sure everything is correct), you don't want to rub off a cam lobe and lose a motor because you didn't check.
assuming they are in good shape stock lifters are rairly an issue, but check your pushrod length becasue they many times are not correct when you change something around.
