Info On Stage 8 Header Bolts

Looking for a little advice. I am planning on changing out the headers on my '00 GT starting the day after Christmas. I have the Stage 8 locking header bolts, but recently got some info that is making me think twice about using them.

I was told it's not a good idea to install them right away after torquing down the headers. Risking a possible blow out. Anyone using this product? Anyone have any feedback or comments?

I installed my L/T about 3 months ago and I guess about 1500 miles and I have had no problems. The Stage 8s are cheap insurance so you dont have to do that PITA job again. They were also recommended by the tech at Jet Hot. I also spent the $$ on new stock gaskets from Ford just to be sure.

I bought em when I did my longtubes, and they felt like they didn't want to thread in right. I tried the factory studs, and the bolts supplied by BBK, and they both went right in. But the Stage 8 bolts didn't want to thread in. I didn't risk stripping the head and sent them back. Hope you have better luck.
