INJECTOR AND MAF ?s

Im needing a MAF and injector preference for my 94 Cobra turbo build. Im going to be running about 12psi. I have a stock Explorer block ( I know it wont last long but Im saving for a Dart block I just want to get all the good parts now and only buy them once). Im running a single 66mm turbo with a 50 shot out of the hole to help it to spool. My mods are 75mm throttle body, Comp Polymers upper and GT40 lower, World Products Windsor Sr. 200 heads with 64cc combustion chambers, custom ground FI cam. I need to know what size injectors I need to buy and what MAF and size I should buy. I talked to C&L and they said I should not have any bends before the MAF and that I need to shield the filter if I put it on the end of the MAF. Is this true? I also hear of a blow through MAF what is this? THIS IS MY FIRST TURBO BUILD. Im doing the turbo install with my friend that does turbo Hondas all the time. I just need advice on my MAF and injectors. Thanks

We've done tons of them - and depending on your HP goals - up to 450 or so, go 42# injectors and a 90mm LMAF - if you think you'll be above this, go Siemans-Deka 60's and an SCT BA 2400 or 2800 MAF or a 90mm LMAF and diablo MAF.ia.

On a turbo, blow through - where the maf is after the turbo usually works best - BUT you have to run a straight section of 4" pipe before and after the MAF, no reducers at the MAF at all. You can run draw through where the MAF is before the turbo, but you'll probably have problems when the turbo spins down and causes stalling unless you allow a TON of pipe between the turbo and MAF.

Where in Ohio are you? - you could stop by our shop and see our own turbo 95 and how we have it set up - drives like stock till you get on it - and if I'm around you can see my turbo Gen 1 Lightning to get ideas. See link in my sig for info and you may want to call Rob first before you stop by to make sure he is there and has the Mustang with him.
