I need to put new fuel injectors in my '01 and was wondering if anybody has installed injectors on their own? It doesn't look hard, but that is my question. Is it a hard install and how long did it take??

Any help would be awesome, I'm looking foward to driving this thing again.

really simple. relieve the fuel pressure (turn off the inertia switch and let teh car run till it dies) then take the 4 bolts out of the fuel rails, pull the rails up, remove old injectors, lube new injecto o-rings (white lithium grease or motor oil) put the injectors in the rails, then push em down, bolts em up and plug in the connectors!

I would recommend replacing the o-rings on the injectors.. other than that, the above poster sounded good.

Not sure why you are changing them, but keep in mind, that if you are not swaping out the same size injectors, the eec has to be retuned. The physical install is easy.

Yeah I got a real bad slug of water in a tank right after they started putting ethanol in the gas and lost the 8th cylinder.... I changed the filter which was nasty, but it still isn't hitting on all 8. I was wanting to get it tuned anyways. I'm probably getting a diablo tuner.

Thanks for the help everybody

Use some motor oil on the o-rings to lubricate them when you do the install.
