I have a supercharged 99' Cobra and i get a clicking noise through my sterio. It has the fuel injectors supplied with the procharger kit. The volume/ frequency changes with rpm+ throttle position. It is definatley not alternator whine. I'm thinking mabe coil packs, but leaning towards injectors. The coil packs are stock. I have compleely gone through the wiring testing for bad connections and bad grounds, everything is as it should be. I had this problem with the factory mach system and now with my Eclipse avn-7000. Anyone experianced problems like this with larger than stock injectors? Any advice would be great!

You don't think it may be caused by non-resister plugs possibly? Do you have an aftermarket hood by chance?

Stock hood

It has the factory hood. Had'nt considered the plug issue... I'll look into it. In the mean time, any other advice appreciated. Thanks Unc!

It's FIXED!!!!!

Ok, heres what it was. I checked the plugs that were in it and they were NGK race plugs. (They were resistor plugs) I started wondering if they were'nt taxing my stock coil packs. So after talking to a mechanic buddy of mine I decided to try a stock style plug instead of the race ones. Low and behold, problem SOLVED!!! No loss of power, (Maybe even an increase, though dyno results arent in yet.) no problems whatsoever!!! Apparently the race plugs were too much of a load on my stock coils. Thanks again for the lead unc!
