injector repair?

Are you able to disassemble and clean the fuel injectors? My project engine hasnt run in years and I am figuring the injectors may be all gummed up. I was wondering if anybody had info on taking them apart and any repair parts available.

you can get a rebuild kit at your local parts store, if they dont have one there are several on ebay. I would recommend it.

this is how i rebuild all my injectors. good instructions except it doesn't tell you what to use as a power source in the test circuit. use a 6v lantern battery. can be had for $4.99 at radioshack. and you don't need an extra injector harness. you can clip the jumper leads directly to the positive and negative tabs on the injectors. good luck!
