As seen in my sig, just dropped a 4.6 from an 04 grand marquis (only 20k miles on it) into my 2000 stang, and used the injectors on the engine.

The clips on the injector harnesses wont clip onto the injectors (I fabbed a way for them to stay on securely) and I get a lean code every month or two. I'm curious what the effect would be of running injectors different than what the ECU is expecting or programmed for.

It runs well...I'm always thinking there's a slight misfire but no codes for that, and there very well may not be a misfire - may be in my head.

I'm just wanting to make sure I'm not running it like dangerously lean and don't know it.

yeah about that...I no longer have them. They were really dirty and looked gunked up so like a reject I threw 'em out.

Oh man....well, you can try Ebay, or you can try SN classifieds. There are always someone who is selling stock injectors.

The injectors should be the same meaning unless they are 19lb to 22lb or up you wouldn't have any issues. Are you talking about the wire harness on the injectors? As long as you can secure them you should be OK.

You can buy adapters for different injector harnesses, ev1 to ev6 or something like that. The injectors you need are black and yellow.
