Inline Fuel Pump install (GSL392)

I just bought a GSL392 and am trying to figure out how to get it ann hooked up. I used this but I am still a little unclear:

What color is the wire that I need to tap into that powers the intank pump?

I went to Ronmorris.com and found what I think I need, a 90 Degree Duckbill Fitting (5/16", Female) and a 5/16" bundy tube. Do I need to get some rubber hose or should I get the nylon line that they also sell? This is on my 88LX with stock lines and a 255 in-tank pump.

I don't know which color wire, but try seperating the harness plug into the fuel tank and stick a multimeter into the supply side terminals to see which lead gets battery voltage when the key is turned to the accessory position.

Well I found out its the pink wire in the fuel pump harness. I have everything figured out except for hooking the pump into the factory lines. Do I need the fitting I mentioned in my first post?
