Well my 2002 v6 didn't come with cruise and I was wondering how hard it would be to install it. Saw a kit on fordparts.com for $315. I also saw this on ebay LINK and have seen where I can get a steering wheel with the controls for ~$50 or so. Only thing i'm really wondering is the control unit and buttons the only thing I would need?

my brother's '97 cavalier didnt come with cruise control, so we bought an aftermarket kit and the OEM cruise control switch and it works...but it is NOT easy to find the right wires to hook everything up to, its doable, but it isnt an easy task

Do you really think your going to really use cruise control that much?

Yes. Before I totalled my blazer and bought the stang I used it everytime I got in the car.

Well I saw the kit on fordparts.com but it's over $300. I was just trying to find a less expensive way. I'm ready to do all the electrical work myself.
