Install finished.....now my suspension makes sense!

Just drove for a while with the new MM RLCAs, FRPP UCLAs, and FRPP UCLA bushings. Also put in an MM Steering Shaft.

I've really liked my suspension, but frankly I knew my rear suspension was bad and only helped by the springs/shocks. Handling was still way better than stock, but the rear was shaky at times. Daily driving to work was not an option, because of traffic and the slower speeds. Did this same route today and it was freakin' beautiful.

Results from today's drive......

- spot on steering (actually threw me off a couple times now that the slop is gone)
- rear noises are gone
- the front soaks up bumps good, but now the rear is as good or better
- tracking is perfect regardless of road irregularities
- didn't expect this, but braking is flatter (less brake dive for which there was little before)
- accelerating feels different.......better......but different
- absolutely feel every dime at MM was well worth it

Will need another trip to see how the twisties are now.

I'll finish for now by saying that I just can't believe how comfortable these H&R Race springs are. I somewhat questioned them before, but I'm so glad I got them now. Only piece I'm missing from the MM Road & Track Kit is the panhard bar. The PHB and Eibach swaybars will go on this summer, but not until I've gotten used to the new stuff. Just want to see what the differences are with each step.

Too cool! :D

:nice: i just put mine on recently too. made a big difference. im very happy with them. also going to be putting in a phb. only thing im worried about is i heard things about the tips hitting/rubbing on stuff. maybe ill wait til u put urs on. :D

I asked MM about their PHB and what it might do to my Bassani catback. They said that some light adjustments would be necessary, but it definitely will fit. Just need to reposition the tailpipes a bit to clear the PHB and allow for the natural movement of the tailpipes and other stuff under there.

I'm definitely going to do the PHB this summer and possibly also with some 17x10.5s and 315s on the back end. Just not sure how all this will go together. Maybe 17x9 all around with matched 275s. Wheels will be my toughest decision by far.

Oh yeah, MM recommended that if I do replace my sway bars.......go with the Eibach front and rear.

i have the same cb, so lets hope it is just light adjustments. i already have 18x10s i hope that dont cause problems for me. maybe ill have to check out ur car after u do it. unless i do mine 1st.
