Install of spherical bushings?

I am going to install a new set of spherical bushings with my Mega Bite Jr. but how do you get the stock piles out? What are some of the ways you have done it? Burn them out, chistle, press, c-4?

My Mega Jr's had two peice poly bushings. You could probably lube them up with WD40, then pry them out. Being two peice, they should come back out easily.

That's true. In that case, heat and a good air hammer. I have this HUGE Snap On air hammer. 350 bucks...best tool in my box. Those bushings laughed at my Craftsman air hammer.

i used a drill to get the rubber out, then used a mallot and flat head to knock out the metal

its not that bad everybody should experience the joy of bushings atleast once, I have had em practically fall out and other times I drilled and chisled or burnt em out with a torch (least favorite way)

I like to burn stuff, I will try that. But then the tool won't land me in jail.
