Installation Cost for shorty headers and catted x-pipe

OK... I ordered JBA shorty headers and a magnaflow x-pipe from American Muscle...good deal free shipping...

I am simply not up to pulling of the stock manifolds... motor mounts... starter removal... also need to get a O2 bung installed (welded) in the driver side x-pipe before the cat...

Anyway, I have shopping for prices for doing an install in MD. So far I have the following:

$450

$490

$450

Anyway... does $450 sound like a good deal for a complete install of the headers and x-pipe?

I would think between $400 and $500 in labor costs sounds reasonable and customary, if that includes the welding of the bung?

Its around 7-8 hours labor altogether, so $400-500 sounds about right. Believe it or not, one of the time consuming parts of the install is tightening the header bolts. I ended up using a mix of the original studs and new bolts.

I would make sure the shop youre bringing it to knows what theyre doing though, you dont want the shops first header install on an 05+ GT to be on yours.
