oh yeah, the extensions would probably go to the fronts...i just extended mine, myself. My problem o2 sensor was the driver's side front one. The back ones, you'll probably just pop the clip off of the body. Youll know what im talking about, when you see it.

No install differences between and X and H just the crossover is different.

I have the mac H too, waiting for the install after I get my house and have a garage to use.

You might wanna soak all your bolts with some liquid wrench before trying to undo them. If they're to tight they can shear off. It shouldn't be a big deal since your car is brand new, but better safe than sorry. You can get liquid wrench at O'Reilly's.

Are extenders necessary? i bought the h-pipe and haven't had a chance to put it on. I know my chk engn light will come on after some time without the eliminators, but do I need the extensions?

When installed the mac off road h pipe,i reused the factory flange gasket on the passenger side, not the piece of sh@t gasket that comes with the h pipe.No problems there.
Didn't need extensions for my O2's,just sleed them off there mointing point off the trans cross member, then zippied tied them after i installed the MIL eliminators.
Mine is an '03 though.Don't know if that differ's that much from the '04's .
But know i have cat's welded in place ...emissions !!!
