Hey, guys... I'm going to be installing a Pro 5.0 in a friends 04 Stang tomorrow. Relitively easy, I know... But I just want to make sure I know exactly how to take off the console. I don't wanna break that crap and him only have 800 miles on the car. lol. So maybe in extreme detail, explain to me where to grab/how to pull/what not to do. Thanks a lot.

ok, thanks for your help............ lol. Where do you pull from? Around the sides? I heard to pull it from the bottom first so you don't break the plastic tabs?

just put your fingers on the inside of the console and your thumb on the outside and just pull real firmly, don't worry about breaking anything. It makes a preaty scary noise when it comes out but that is just the little metal tabs on the plastic. to put it back in place just make sure it lines up and give it a little pop with the palm of your hand. It's a real easy install.

Hey man, thanks. It did make a crazy scary sound, but it came out good. Took about 30 minutes. Thanks again for the help.
