I've just completed installing the C & L Street Intake and used a Predator tuner to install some semi-custom tunes by B a m a chips. Wow! It's a whole new world now. Even with automatic transmission and 3.31's it's running great. To see a review of the parts and the process, complete with G-Tech performance numbers, look here:

Sweet isn't it?!?!? I installed 4.10s(3.31s stock)only about a week after the CAI/tuner upgrade...MEGA WOW!!!!! That combo really makes for some neck snapping action in the auto!!!!!!

Looking at your performance #'s I noticed how all your 2nd runs were slower in both E.T. and MPH. How close together did you perform the 2 runs? It appears to me that they were run too close together and not allowing enough cool down time for maximum performance on both runs. Nice however on how the 3 levels progressed

You are correct--I was fully prepared for my second and third runs to be a bit slower, but I didn't want to sit on a country road 10 miles from my house waiting for a proper cool-down. The main issue for me was consistency, and I think that I managed that. The runs did show a very nice improvement with the CAI and tune--can't wait to see what a change to 3.73's will do!

Increased tire spin, acceleration AND FUN!!!!!!
I love driving in 4th(O/D off) around 3000-4000 RPM and just blipping the throttle...it makes the front of the car real light and she will throw you back in the seat

Nice to see your numbers improve so much. I also have the C&L with Bamachips 93 tune but have not gone to the track nor turned a dyno run. I could have sworn a stock Stang ran about 5.1 to 60 though. Not a big deal, just trying to size up my competition.

Numbers I've seen for stock GT 0-60 range from 5.0-5.5. My car was running 3.31 gears, so I'll assume that it would be one of the slower ones.

Nice Jack!

This will be my next mod as well. Or gears, I haven't decided. Great review.

I think that either one will give you a nice bang for the buck. Still liking the Gibsons?

Here is what the 3.73's should get you (no guarnantees on the RT) --my time slip with C&L racer kit, Brenspeed automatic tune & steeda UD pullies. (Left Lane car #199D)
