I just finished installing the clear fog lights I got off of Ebay. Why didn't they come stock with these. They totally compliment the car and the clear headlights. Anyways for tech, does anyone else have these and did they leak on you, or did you do anything to seal them up? Thanks in advance.

They are naturally brighter due to the clear lens, but I haven't looked for a brighter bulb yet. Anyone know of any?

www.mustangtuning.com has them for sale. Just click on the part of the site that says 'Mustang Lighting' or something like that.

Clear fogs are beautiful
they look so nice
and fogs are bright

I'm waiting for my new Sylvania Silverstar fogs... so bright and white
but they aren't being sold right now because of a manufacturer defect (sending me a free pair since mine broke)

Don't bother, I'd leave well enough alone unless you want to have to worry about melting your wiring harness or plugs. To run brighter bulbs you should upgrade everything to support the extra amperage they will draw. The clear fogs look great and I was thinking about them myself, but I never got around to it yet.

i used to buy ricer lights, stock wattage and they were crazy bright and white. But they were cheap, broke every 3-6 months. I didn't mind $15 here and there, but got tired of it after 3x.

Is there any difference between the e-bay ones and the ones off of mustangtuning.com?

No mine haven't leaked yet, I was just asking. I may take them out and silicone the seal just to be safe.

I have to ask...

How hard was it to replace them? I looked under the bumper of my 04 GT. I saw one bolt that seemed to be directly under the fog light. Looking at the fog light from the front, I saw one bolt. I think that's the adjustment one though.

Is it just that bottom one holding the fog light in place?
