Yeah, I had to buy my fogs aftermarket, but it was one bolt to install them.

We had to jack the car though to get underneath it.

Easy install though

i didnt need to jack the car. but i wish i did because of my stone driveway ouch.

70 bucks is a good deal, most i've seen are easily over 100 bucks. i got mine from mustangtuning too . i love mine.

update: oh, and mine did eventually leak. just put some silicone sealer on them, it'll fix it right up.

I've had mine since october or something.... through winter and the downpours we've had so far this spring it hasn't fogged up. the stock ones did, that was partly why I bought the clears.

I have to ask...

How hard was it to replace them? I looked under the bumper of my 04 GT. I saw one bolt that seemed to be directly under the fog light. Looking at the fog light from the front, I saw one bolt. I think that's the adjustment one though.

Is it just that bottom one holding the fog light in place?

I just replaced mine this past weekend.

There are three bolts per side holding the bracket to the bumper cover. One on the bottom (which you see), and two on the top. You need to remove all three. The bolts are all the same size, so what ever size socket wrench you need to do the bottom bolt is the size you need to use on the top two.

The top two are by "feel" only. However, it wasn't all that difficult to remove. Re-installing them, though, was much more of a task. What I ended up doing, was to use a "shake straw". The straw was just the right diameter to snuggly hold the bolt head. That allowed me to better get the bolts back into their holes. Once the bolt was started, I was able to pull the straw off, and use the wrench to tighten it.

Removing the old lights from the brackets was the most difficult part of the job. I wasn't able to bend the brackets enough to allow the pivot pins on the lights to come out. Unfortunately, I ended up breaking one pin off each light while removing them.

Snapping the new lights into the brackets was a bit easier. The pivot pins have a angled tip, which makes it easier to snap in (and more difficult to snap out).

Thanks!

That gives me a feel for what I'm facing. I guess it's not something I can do while waiting for the spousal unit to get dressed before going out to dinner, even though it feels like forever sometimes.

Those that were talking about brighter lights... i spent money on the Xenon hyperwhites.. they look really good and have been in my headlights and fog lights for 2 years now. I want to get some clear fogs.
