Got and installed my FR500 Steering wheel today - I must say it sure is nice.
Definitely nice and comfy. Looks appealing. Me likes.
My interior used to be Black/Grey but I re-painted it... that's my main reason for replacement. I'm waiting for my paint to come in (monday) then I'll finish up the last grey pieces, mainly the Airbag cover and steering column.
If anyone is selling some black leather seats hit me up!!

I got it from www.oemfordparts.com
http://www.oemfordparts.com/PartDetail.asp?S=1&PartID=338
$159.25 shipped - All it is is the wheel, nothing else. You have to transfer everything from old to new.

Can you use that dye for convertible tops? What is good to use? Mine is pretty faded, but no blemishes. I would like to restore the color from the sun beating on it.

I'm not all that sure. It's for Vinyl and hard plastics... I suppose it COULD work. It was really my first time painting something like that. Although I don't know how it would stand up to the sun beating down on it all day and harsh weather. Maybe like 10 coats with 5 clears.

10 coats and 5 clears of that stuff is what, like $150??? Thats a new top in itself... But I guess if you don't install it yourself it would be more like 700 or so... ionno, just wouldn't seem worth it, and might not even look that great

But hey, I love your interior piece (i'm planning the same when i get the $$$ this summer)

Couldn't you get a stock steering wheel for less- or did you get that one for the comfort?

I could have gotten a stock replacement... but it wouldn't have come in a ford racing box.
