OK I spent most of the weekend working on my car with a buddy of mine. my goals were:
A) install fuel system for supercharger install (36#injectors, calibrated MAF, Fuel pump)
B) replace steeda pulleys with stock pulleys for blower install
C) install Accufab plenum/TB combo while Im at it
Well pretty much I did all of the above besides the T-rex 255lph fuel pump install. I adjusted TPS to .95, 4.5 WOT, reconnected the battery and took it for a short test drive.. the car has a decent amount more power i must say but the idle isnt smooth, the "Service Engine" light is on, and it almost sounds like its backfiring between quick shifts. now i dont have a tune/chip for these mods so my computer is probably lost in space right now.... but my ? is once i install the T-rex..... is this safe to drive like as it is without a chip/tune???? also is that why my Service Engine light is on?? Please help!!
