Just finished installing a laurel mountain mustang booster conversion in my 67. I had granada discs and 5.0 rear with 9" drums and manual MC. This install was pretty straightforeward, and works very well. It fit with a JMC hydralic clutch kit too. I used the adapter for the pedal, did not have to change the pedal or remove it. The rod on the back of the booster was adjustable to set the pedal height. Even though my engine only pulls 8" vaccuum at idle, this works well because when you need the most braking, driving, the motor pulls a good 20+" on decelleration. All in all I am pleased and can now lock up the brakes if i need too.

What adaptor for the pedal ? Does it allow you to use a manual pedal with power breaks ?

Its an adaptor that lets you use the manual drum brake pedal. My kit from ABS powerbrake came with the same thing.

Its night and day when comparing manual drum to power disc!
