Installed stock 03 Mach 1 springs over the weekend. After a year of internet research and reading every thread on the internet about Bullitt/Mach springs, I decieded they were the best choise for my goals. I wanted improved suspension feel and no more than .75" drop. These springs met all goals.

I cant believe how improved the chassis is overall with Mach springs vs the stock springs. Ride has a performance feel but still very smooth. Im very impressed with how smooth and stable the car feels on the freeway. No more floaty feel the stock springs had. I am also running Koni STR-T struts and shocks. Perfect match with these springs.

To get the .75 drop in the front i installed springs with no isolators. No extra NVH. I may put the upper isolator back in to raise the front a hair, but will wait until I decide on what new wheels to go with. The rear actally stayed the same. The factory isolators were worn away. I used the stock Mach isolators so That must be why the height stayed the same. I plan to get MM adjustable lower arms so im not to concerned with rear height.

Any one looking for a slight drop and better over all suspension/chassis feel should consider these springs. I think the Bullitt spring would have dropped it a full 1" which would have been to much for my goal.

Fender height now with Mach 1 springs, stock rims and tire size, 3 core radiator and AOD trans
Front 26"
Rear 26.5"

That's a pretty damned decent stance for "stock" springs. Looks great.

Good call man. I did bullitts on my coupe almost a year ago now and I know what you mean about the change. I couldn't imagine having another spring.

I was thinking about using them as well but they're so hard to find at a reasonable price.

They are hard to come by. I was looking for about a year until I happened to check the classifieds at Svtperformance.com a few weeks ago and found a set for a very reasonable price shipped. Send a pm to member twymenburr on svtperformance. He parts out a lot of mustangs.

I used Bullitt Springs, Struts and Shocks on mine, love the ride height and handling is much improved.

It's a good setup for a static drop. Those Koni shocks are great for the price too. Now add some Bullitt wheels!

I hope you never change the color of your car. Looks good with the springs. Needs better rims, the 10 holes are outdated.

ya the 10 holes are boring, but also dont bring attention. I cant decide on what wheel would look good with this color. I was leaning toward saleen SC wheels but sometimes I dont like them.....

Car looks great.

I agree about the SC rims. Sometimes I like them and sometimes I don't. I wish there were more options for 4 lug wheels. I would like to swap wheels but I really don't want to convert to 5 lug.
