Installed MM stainless steel brake hoses in the front

I put in my MM stainless steel brake hoses in the front this last week, and they look good! Only problem is that I didn't feeling like putzing around with the rear brake hose because its kinda hard to get to without a lift and everything was rusted. Sooo, I just left the stock rear brake hose. Is this going to cause a problem for me in the future? I'm thinking since now the two front hoses are no longer rubber, all that pressure is now being diverted to the rear rubber hose, and I don't want it to rupture, or cause any other problems. Is this feasible? Also, by not replacing that one hose, is it possible that putting the new hoses up from will have no affect because all the hoses need to be steel?

i don't see where you would run into a problem if it was just for a short time but i'm no break expert either

But this may not be for a short time, I won't replace the hose until I get a chance, which can be months.

it shouldnt be a problem, thats why Ford Racing sells a plug for the porportioning valve when converting to 4 wheel disc. Where the plug goes, inside of there is a spring and a "valve" which allows only so much pressure to be sent to the rear brakes, once that "valve" kicks in it stops the fluid from going to the rear brakes, whether their disc or drum, sort of a protection device.

It's not any more likely to leak than it was before. But IF you have a rubber hose leak, then it will definitely be the rear hose, because you eliminated the other rubber hoses

Oops, sorry. I forgot that I am doing that too. Oh well , no problems here either.
