My friend and I just finished the install and, honestly, I am quite pissed off. The install was very difficult and time-consuming. I wish I had just paid for the install. The reason I feel this way is because after all that hard work...especially with the damn h-pipe removal and installation, there are exhaust leaks you can hear a mile away. Also, the fitment of the catback sucks a$$. The passenger side muffler is rubbing and the tips are very uneven. One tip sticks out farther than stock while the other tip is pushed farther in more than stock was. I am tired, dirty, and very angry . On the brighter side, the sound, except for the leaks, is great. There is that severe drone I was warned about, but I'm okay with that. I think I will feel much better after the leaks and fitment are corrected of course.

Was the MRT H any trouble? Or is that where the leaks are?

I installed my MRT H-pipe w/cats (stock cat-back) last weekend and had no problems, fitment was perfect and had no leaks at all. I installed it with just the front wheels up on ramps and the rear wheels raised a few inches on jack stands. Did you use the new passenger side gasket that was supplied and did you follow MRT's suggestion and run a bead of high temp. RTV sealent inside the bell flange on the drivers side of the H-pipe? Also, if you used the new gasket make sure you removed the old one, mine was still attached to the bolts up against the header flange when I removed my stock H pipe.

ps. with cats the H-pipe was not much louder than stock, but my SOTP meter has noticed significant power increase across the whole rpm range. I am very happy!!

A muffler shop had to notch out my control arm to keep my pipes from hitting it. Sounds like the same stuff that I had to put up with my cobra. A/T catback that is. good luck. Your muffler shop should be able to get it close. Your mufflers should get a little louder with time also, mine did.

I took it in and got everything fixed perfect. I was shocked when the mechanic showed me the car on the lift. One of the nuts on the passenger side header flange had fallen off....I guess I know where the leak was mostly coming from. Anyways...everything is sealed tight and fitted right. Sounds incredible!
