installed my manual rack

hey i installed my manual rack today it was an east straight up install. i bought it from wildride race cars. the kit is not flaming river though i bought a kit from unisteer which included the rack, steering shaft, and tie rod ends no rack bushings tho. but the part im getting to is the best the steering shaft was set up already so it got rid of all the possible headaches of aligning the u joints in it from what i understand flaming river steering shafts dont come assembled

Cool, glad it worked for you, planning on something similar myself. How does it drive? If you don't mind me asking, how much did it all togeater cost?

drive hmmmm ill have to get back to you once i get my new motor and trans in but the kit cost about 350 including shipping (was shipped from nj to pa) it steers a lil hard tho sitting still in garage with no motor/trans it is 3 1/2 turns from lock to lock if your wondering. one more thing if you do order it from wild rides the adds they have in 5.0 mag dont mention the kit for unisteer it just mentions the flaming river kits which cost like 50 dollars more
