Hey i have an 02 mustang GT and i just put a procharger kit on. I had everything on and ready to go. I went to start it and it would turn over but not fire. I am pretty sure it wasn't getting any gas, i thinkg the fuel pump was not runing. I need some answers from anyone with some help.
thanks

yea i have reset my fuel pump, with the switch in the trunk. I am sure it is the chip, but i have cleaned it twice. does anyone have suggestions on what to clean it with?

If it has the gel coating, you can use a small piece of scuff pad (looks like a tiny sponge) and you should rub front to rear on the contacts...not side to side. Sometimes a toothpick works good to start with just to break up the goo first.

if its the chip tahst causen it i beilive that the "THEFT" light would be flashing when crankin and letting it start, then kill it immediatly because it thinks the cars is bein stolen...happened to me with a diablo chip, took it back out, fine....decided to get a tuner not to mess with that damn ecu.

good luck

Thanks for all the comments, but of course like always it was just a little mistake I made. I didn't screw in the nut that holds ur wire harness to the back of ur computer. When i did get it started it wouldn't idle. Does anyone know why that was? I turned the idle up a little but it is still idling slow.

The idle is bound to be messed up for a while, just drive it around for a hundred miles and if the idle is still messed up then repost in here and we can help ya. The same thing happened when I did my headswap, the idle was totally messed up for like 3 days, then one day it just stopped, like the computer had to relearn everything and once it did it was fine
