I just had eibach prokit lowering springs installed on my 02 gt vert. the look does'nt look different and I would like to know what is wrong.....any help on this would be appreciated from one and all. thanks ahead of time...

I just got my pro kit installed 2 days ago.

My ride height dropped 1 inch or more in the front and the rear is now even with the front. No more 4x4 look

I also had energy suspension isolators installed front and rear.

I could tell at first glance that it was lower.

Could it be you were expecting more of a drop?

When laying on the ground I can't slide my head under the front like I could before without jacking it up. So check that, or if you can't fit your fist verticle between the tire and fender well in the front it's lower for sure

Did you take a peep under the car?

Same thing happened to me, the drop was less than expected.
At first I only got about a quarter inch drop in front and 3 quarter inch in back.
After 4 weeks it now sits at 7 eights drop in back and 5 eights drop in front.
My stang looked a bit lower than most stock stangs before any way.
So it only setteled 1 quarter inch. Eibach will claim that there will be no
setteling at all. I would be satisfied if the front dropped the same as the back.

hey, thanks for all the reply's, I have looked under the car and don't see anything amiss. I talked to my bro-inlaw....he said they might settle as well. the mechanic said there really isn't any way they could go in wrong so that isn't the issue.
I guess I should have gotten the springs kit for the coupe instead of the vert.....any thoughts on that one...
also wondering about deep dish bullit rims and what size tires to use.....I am thinking of staying with the 17's but if the drop doesn't come down much more then i'll suppose i'll goi with 18's....suggestions welcome...thanks ahead of time.. mike

18's may help, but I think you are supposed to run a lower profile tire with
18's , so the actual diameter is the same. If you run a taller tire your
speedometer will be off by 5mph or so. Post a pic if you can.

how do i get the stance with the rear end a little higher than the front when all I installed was the eibach pro kit for verts? I am not sure if I like there spring set up ...can I return them and maybe go with something else?

Well i have had my share of fun with springs. I have done about 50 spring installs and i dont have any isolators or anything. Car still rides nice with little to no noise, (just turn up the radio lol jk)

But if you wanted a different stance, than you can be kinda getto and cut the springs witch i HIGHLY recommend NOT doing, but you can and its cheap (free)
Or you could leave the pro kit spring in the rear and find you some sportlines for the front. Also you can put the isolators in the rear and it might make a little difference. But i know that with that a** end up higher is a bada** look.

On my friends car we had sportlines up front and the stock springs in the rear and to be honest it looked pretty cool. I would post a pic but i dont have one.
Just what i think...:nice:
