Only the passenger side hits, the driver side has about 1/2" to 1/4" of clearance. I used MM's install guide to square the k-member and both sides were within 1/16" of each other, however I forgot to check the side to side alignment. I suppose I'll have to re-check the alignment, but is it possible to adjust the k-member with the suspension installed? Or could this just be a suspension alignment issue?

Oh yeah, I'll get pics up tomorrow or wednesday. I was too tired last night to take any.

i have a qa-1 and didn't have any such problems. do u have caster/camber plates? if not that is your next investment and a good alignment.

Yes, I have C/C plates. You think a suspension alignment is all I need? That's what Im hoping for

LOL yeah that could be a problem. But it's only hitting at almost full lock turning only one direction so I should be able to make it to the alignment shop ok. I just don't want to take it over there and find out I need to re-align the k-member or something. I want to make sure it's right before the engine goes back in.

Should I try adjusting the c/c plates to see if I can get any more clearance?

I think I might see the problem...Notice the rear mounting location, it looks like it might be too far left. Im going to re-check the k-member alignment, so I guess the question is can I adjust the alignment with the suspension still installed?

yeah but i would only loosen the k member bolts, dont take them completely out. if realigning it doesn't help then u could play with the caster/camber plates just so the tire aint rubbing and u can drive it to get it aligned. i know hen i put my qa1 in it completely wacked out the alignment.

Thanks, I'll give that a try(if I need to). And I imagine if I removed the bolts completely that the springs would go flying.
