Installing a Ford racing Tach

So i just bought this Ford Racing Svo tach off some one on stangnet... didnt come with a shift light but i dont really care right now.. i had a auto meter phantom tach but didnt like it .. so heres the question has anyone ever installed this tach... the thing im wondering about is the wires that have a connector plug at the end of them ... what doest that go to??? .. it didnt come with any instructions ?

Go to Autometer and look through the tech section.

The wiring should be universal for them.

i was asking the same thing the other day when i went to re-install mine.

black wire is ground, green wire is ignition, red wire is 12v ignition switch

i guess i have to cut the plug off then... i have no wires showing they are all wraped togeather and end up with a plug at the end ??!

autometer makes the frpp svo tach, so the wiring should be the same
