I have a 87 351w installed in a 95 mustang, and its already .030, 9.5.1 compression, world windsor 64 cc heads, torker II intake, hooker swap headers, 1.6 roller lifters, center force clutch, and hydraulic roller cam, pushing out about 415 hp. I was speaking about stroking it to a 408 stroker with 11.1 compression, going to a mechanical roller cam, with a griddle so that I can install nos, the machine shops is tring to charge me about 5300 to set this up, and they state that I will only see a 75hp gain, I priced the storker kit and it runs around 1500, and the cam and roller lifter and accessories around another 1000 or so, is it outragious for them to charge me 3000 to install the kit and put a griddle on this thing, and shouldn't I get more horse power with all of these changes???
