Well after a too long hibernation (1.5 years), my car is being brought back out. I picked up a Centerforce Clutch, and got a great deal in a Procharger kit.

My current mods are:
B-303 Cam
Edelbrock 70mm T-Body
73mm C&L Air Meter (I have one for the kit cal'd for 42#ers)
BBK Shortys, Off Road H and Turbo Tubes with turn downs
155 Fuel Pump

Just wondering if I can get by with the FMU and the stock injectors for the time being ? OR, do I really need to get the 42# injectors and use the Pro M that was giving to me with the kit ?

Also, with the 7-9lb pulley, will I get close to my short term goal of 300rwhp ?

Thanks in advance

i think you can. most people TEND to reccomend getting the new injectors, because of the possibility of going lean (bbaaaadddd).

I did the same thing that you are going to do, and the FMU is a PITA to work with. I am saving for new injectors and a PMS. Its ok to run it for a while, i just wouldnt get on it too hard unless you can watch the A/F with a wideband. Let me know if you have any belt slip issues with it as i am having them now. Let me know if you have any questions!

It's just the base kit I guess, the P600. I got the whole kit, including the intercooler and the Pro-M for $800. I didn't think that was too bad. The head unit has just had new bearings installed as well.

I'm not going to have it tuned until I can get some heads and an intake.

Thats is a good deal, the PB600 is the older technology but they work well. Does it have the Horizontal under the car intercooler or the front mount?

I have never really had belt slip issues with the ATI due to the design, I would check your factory tensioner and belt length to see if they are the issue.

Does it have the older stlye FMU or the style that is adjustable for each injector by turning in the set screw? Upgrading to a larger inj is the best way to proceed.

there's a guy w/ similar mods putting down 400 rwhp/400 rwtq w/ 6 lbs from a Novi 1k, so I'd say you'll have at least 300rwhp

Intercooler is the under car mount. FMU is the adjustable one.

I know my stock heads and intake is really going to be choking this thing, but hey, I couldnt pass it up
