Has anyone mounted a fullsize (I believe 2 3/8") Autometer guage (say a water temp) anywhere except on the upright post between the windshield and the door? Will the sensor for Autometer's standard water temp guage screw right in place of the current dash temp sensor? I'm not concerned whether the factory dash temp guage still works or not unless there is a clever way to have both the guages work. TIA
