Installing AL heads...torque sequence??

Helping a friend install some AL heads on his 5.0 tomorrow. I've installed iron heads before so i know the sequence and such, but is it any different with the AL heads? What should the max torque be for AL heads?

We are using brand new ARP head bolts

The aluminum heads have the same sequence as iron heads.

With ARP head bolts I would go 75 on the lowers and 85 on the uppers stepping up in 3 stages. 35-55-75/85 or similar.

Gaskets should all be torqued in the same manner: inner to outter in a clockwise directions. The reason is simple, any slack gets "pushed" to the outside when you work towards the outside. Remember, use antiseize on ALL bolts and threadsealer on the threads of the lower head bolts.
