Installing Drive Screws on Valve Covers

So I have a set of Edelbrock Elite Aluminum Valve Covers ,and I am having a hard time getting the drive screws tight enough to stop the baffle from rattling..Any sugestions?

You're talking about the plates that cover the inside of the breather holes right?

I just used locktite on mine. You don't want those little screws coming loose in your engine. If you never plan on taking them out, just super glue them lol.

thanks for the reply, but these screws aren't threaded,they are a drive screw..They appear to be nurold? (<-- I have no clue how to spell it)..I think your supposed to bang them in,b/c on the back of the directions it says use a 2x4 behind the valve cover so you don't damage it..I did what it said, but can't get them in far enough...

Wow that is strange...never seen one that needed hammered in. I have some old Motorsport covers and mine are held in by 4 screws.

Do you need the baffle?

And I have never seen this before, Ito used the motorsport ones.

I have some old Motorsport covers and mine are held in by 4 screws too .
