One was ordered for replacement and had for about 10 dollars, but the shop wants around $80 to install it. Looks like the bumper has to come off and, not being car savy, I need instructions. Any pointers on installing one of these little reflectors, taking the bumper off or whatever info I can use. Thanks in advance.
Alright.. not sure which of these are correct:
You need to peel back the lining in the trunk. You'll see two nuts that attach to the reflector. Take those off, and the reflector will drop out."
"I've had a few off and they weren't accessed through the trunk that way.
There are a few screws along the wheel-well opening to remove and like the above post mentioned you'll need to access the 2 11mm nuts in the trunk that hold the bumper to the quarterpanel. That''ll allow you to pull that side of the bumper away from the body and then you can get access to the studs for the reflector. I believe they are either 10mm or 11mm in size for the nuts."
