Installing rockers on screw in studs

I installed a Ford motorsport E303 cam and new heads with screw in studs where do I postion the rockers on the studs from the getgo?

I'm not really sure I understand what you're asking. Put the rocker on the stud, find zero lash, tighten the rocker nut 1/2 to 3/4 turn and tighten the lock. You want the flat part of the trunion pointing upward.

You do have guide plates right?

Yes there are guide plates on the heads, also I am using hydraulic lifters I thought that with screw in studs you had to set the rocker height and that was based off of you cam lift?

Your going to have to get an adjustable pushrod checker to begin with. Then you need to check the valve train geometry. Here's a good "How To" How to Verify Valvetrain Geometry - Lunati Power
