I am in the middle of a C4 to Toploader swap and am having trouble getting the clutch pedal in. I have tried moving the wipeer motor out of the way but it is still a pain in the arse.

Is there any easy way of doing this? If I have to remove the peals before install how do I get the clutch returen spring back on?

Oh yeah, Its a 65 mustang that im working on.

Thanks

Other people have done this other ways but I found it easiest to drop the cradle that supports the brake and clutch pedals, install the pedals, then stick the whole mess back up under your dash. This requires that you drop the steering column to get it out of the way, but once that's done, just loosen the four front bolts (near the master cylinder) and two rear bolts (under the dash) and wrestle the cradle out.

Probably more than one way to skin that cat, but that's what worked for me :D
