Any last minute tips? I'm going to print out the install guide even though I've done this once with the TMoss.. My AFR/FTI combo isn't being installed yet but I wanted to see what I could squeeze out of it before the change. So if you all have any experience.. let me know.. Thanks.

Got track/dyno results? If not, SOTP is not reliable, but give it a try - no reason not to.

Here's an article I found helpful.

http://www.mustang50magazine.com/techarticles/138_0308_basics/index2.html

Watch the end seals. Put lots of RTV in that area or it will leak. I need to take mine apart for that one. Good luck.

Not really worth it unless you want to buy new gaskets. I would just wait and do it all at once!

Here's an easy tip.
Before you put the lower intake on, get some long studs and thread one on the back of the block and one on the front of the block. Now lower the lower intake through the studs! This will keep the lower intake gaskets and seals from shifting while it's being placed onto the engine.

Edit: I didn't read the last post. But to anyone else doing a manifold swap, there's another tip!

Yeah that would be logical.. but I'm trying to prove a point to a local friend about how much I can squeeze out of the stock heads and cam before the swap.. And I'm telling you what.. I love it.. I've got a slight vacuum leak.. it lopes at idle.. but runs like a new car! Thanks to Kornnut for the help!

So be sure to let us know your new track times. Previous was 13.44 with a 2.0 sec 60' with the ported stock lower. What was your mph with the ported stock lower?
