Installing Vinyl Stripes

Is it pretty easy to remove the gas tank emblem on the 05+ Mustangs? I am trying to install vinyl stripes and I need to remove this piece. How much does it generally cost to get it installed professionally? I am a bit afraid that I don't have the professionalism to makes these work myself.

When I bought my stang, my gas cap emblem was on crooked. I took it into the dealer to have them straighten it. They were going to put on a new one, but my salesman told me that the tech was able to pop it off pretty easily and it was still sticky enough that they just put it right back on.

As long as you take your time and are careful, and it hasn't been on there for too long, you shouldn't have any problems.

From what he described it sounded like it was put on with double-sided tape of some sort.
