I am planning on upgrading my GT-40 heads to some aluminum heads, most likely tw heads. I am also going to put a medium lift cam (under .500) for some different power. I have Headman shorty headers, open h-pipe, and flows. Do I need to upgrade my fuel pump, injectors, TB, Mass, etc. I am just not sure how to get the right combination to get ultimate NA power with a future prospect of a novi 2000. Eventually I am sure I will put a new stroked short block in but need to have the motor running smooth until I get that far (the motor). So I just need to know what else I need to upgrade to get the stock SB running at optimal power in an NA state.

Thanks guys. Come on hissin50 give me some pointers!

Supporting Mods(assuming you still retain all stock parts)

1.)MAF sensor 75mm or larger (PMAF is the better company for S/C'd applications ) - expensive to recalibrate so keep that in mind if you purchase for your 19# injectors.
2.) TB / EGR in the 65 - 70mm range
3.) Fuel Pressure Gauge
4.) Injectors should stay at 19# for your N/A setup until you purchase your S/C. then step up to a larger unit and have your MAF re-calibrated
5.) Larger Radiator is always nice
6.) Fuel pump. You'll probably need the 255 gal/hr. unit with the intent of the S/C (it's not essential yet, but you will need it)

There is probably something I am forgetting.....
