will a 01-04 instrument cluster bezel bolt on onto my 94 dash? i already have the 01-04 radio-a/c bezel and plan to rewire the defrost switch to that bezel which includes the defrost switch. i want to delete the defrost switch from the instrument cluster bezel. information greatly appreciated. thanks in advance!

Yes it will go right in. All the clips and the two little screws are still there. A rewire would be cool. I put an 01 dash and console in my notchback and I rewired the mirror switch from the 01 door harness to the speedo bezel, under the headlight switch.. Heres a pic just for chits and giggles.

did you make the switches located at the bottom of the radio-a/c bezel functional?

Yes. But I put the dummy plugs in place of the rear window defrost and the fog lights. I don't need the defrost, and I don't have fogs on an LX fox body, so I just have the traction control button...and it works. I installed the entire 2001 wiring harness from the 2001 GT into my fox body. Everything works. This car is so much fun. I'm brining this thing to Woodward this Saturday.

It's the same part minus the slot for the defrost.

Colors may be different though...esp between black and dark charcoal
