Is there a difference in the lens/housings for 94-98's and 99-04's? Reason I ask is that the 99-04's are like half the price.

94-98

99-04

This is pissin' me off. Why does everything for 94-95's have to be more expensive? I bet the ONLY reason the 94-98 lens is DOUBLE the price is because 94-95's are involved.

I guess I'll just get the 99-04 lens if it will work.

Wow, in eyeballing it, I cant see any difference (nothing that couldnt be modified, unless the thing is canted real weird or something). The very top middle plastic stuff looks a little different between the two, but otherwise............

I ran into a similar thing when ordering a fuel tank grommet - there are several listed and they all look similar and even had overlapping application years, IIRC. I wondered if the 8 dollar grommet was the same as the 22 dollar one.

I thought a couple people on here got glow gauges for the newer years and said they were off a bit. I my be wrong but I'm pretty sure I read that on here somewhere

The tach on mod motors has a different redline, so perhaps that was the difference with the gauge overlays. But dimensionally, I had thought the clusters were about the same.

I thought it was one of the sections. Who knows I don't pay too much attention to the glow gauge threads I like my stock ones

GUYZ: if it doesnt have to be BRAND NEW, go to ebay and search for a cluster... You can find one for our year that came out of a V6...they are SUPER cheap because nobody wants them..

Let me know if you find them!
