Insulation inside new door skin

I want to install something to quiet my doors down, but I am afraid that whatever I install might hold water and cause rust inside the door. Are any of the products out there waterproof?

I used a section of eDead(like Dynamat) and sealed around it with a spray on sound deadener.

Just a thought, but what about some of that spray-on / roll-on truck bed liner?? It's a good sound deadener and it helps prevent rust by keeping moisture off of the metal.

you should also consider coating the corners of the doors where they typically rust with POR-15 to help preven future rust problems. if you do this then it won't matter what kind of insulation you use since the corners will permanently sealed

You should try Lizardskin Ceramic Insulation. It's a spray on insulator/sound deadener.
