I just bought a 2005 Roush Stage 1 and I am looking for insurance options. Any input from the members on classic car insurance? I think I am paying too much for my car policies anyway so it may be time for a change. I am paying about 2200 a year for a 2004 F150 and a 2020 Dodge Durango. Senior driver and my wife is 56. Perfect driving records and vey stable history. Full coverage is what we currently have. And Nationwide is our carrier and has been for 30 plus years.

Do you have to keep it in a garage and is there a mileage limit?

I think Statefarm acquired one of the classic insurers too.

I'm not sure on the mileage limit but I think they assume it's just a weekend driver with occasional commuter trips. They do require a garage but I have an open carport. They never asked for any proof.
