I have recently acquired an aluminum intake from a police interceptor with a rear plenum entry and the throttle body and fuel rails. I have a few questions that I hope to get answered.

1.Will it fit with stock heads?
2.Will just bolting it on increase anything besides weight or would I need a port and polish along with the cylinder heads to make the performance difference?
3.Should I just sell it for scrap and save my time and money for another intake and heads?

Thanks in advance for your answers

Save your time. It will fit though.

Save yourself the headache...sell it and get a good one, from what I hear the Bullit intake is the best performer out there for the 2v.

The Bullitt is a ripoff and will probably get you 5rwhp. The PI intake is cheap and Livernois Motorsports has a kit to make it work with the teardrop shape ports on the 96-98 heads. This mod has been worth 20rwhp on an otherwise stock Non PI car. And I believe its under $400 for the kit.
