Intake choices for strut tower braces

I have a 95 GT 5.0L Convertible with the factory strut tower brace and wanted to know which if any performance intakes clear the factory strut tower brace. If they require an aftermarket brace who makes them for aftermarket intakes? Do any intakes cause interference with hoods? I was told mines has a Cobra R hood.

your going to need a 351 brace or cobra brace otherwise no go.

There are no intakes that clear that stock intake. The Cobra Mustangs in these years came with a different strut tower brace just to clear the intake. I think just about all the aftermarket strut tower braces are redesigned with the bar forward of the intake. Once you have an aftermarket brace, it's not an issue.

either get rid of it or get an aftermarket brace. pretty much all the intakes will clear any of the aftermarket braces because of the way they are designed. if you have a cobra r hood, you shouldn't have hood issues unless your doing something extreme.
