You can just toss the STB in the trash... I didnt notice anything different when I took mine off. You will only need one if you are really into auto cross. As for the TB adapter, you will need to get an intake elbow for almost any aftermarket intake.

For bolts, you can re-use the stock lower intake bolts, but if you have the money I'd get some ARP bolts. Only other thing I could think of that you'll need besides gaskets is some RTV. You'll need a Fel-Pro 1250 (lower intake gasket), the Edelbrock will come with the gaskets it needs, and you'll need to make a gasket for the intake elbow probably

Once you purchase the Elbow adapter, the gasket will be included.
Buy some of those blue rags from autozone, and a lil spatula to remove the old lower gasket. Buy some of that ultra black RTV stuff.

Get rid of that strut bar.

Disagree!

I drove my car a week without the brace and could feel more flex! the more body flex, the less the suspension can work! Get the intake but get an aftermarket brace! and a k-member brace and subframe connectors! the car will ride and handle better.

Are you sure you're thinking about the strut tower brace and not the sway bar? Because with my sway bar off I could feel a big difference in how my car handled, but couldnt feel anything with the STB off.... But if it worries you, you can always buy an aftermarket one for $100

Do this measure from strut to strut then take off your STB. Go drive your car hard, take a few corners and then measure it again.

Then you will know why you need the STB

Buy a aftermarket STB.

But I would like to know how much of a cowl hood you need for a Eddy Perf.

Stock hood will clear the eddy just fine... That black mat hits the front drivers side corner of my intake so its close but still works.

there is no load on the towers...it has even been shown with coil overs there is not reasonable need for a tower brace
